• If you're not registered to vote, complete your voter registration form through the DMV: click here

• Requirements for registering to vote (from Durham County Government website):

  • U.S. citizen

  • Be at least 18 years old, or will be by the date of the general election

    • ​16- and 17-year-olds may preregister to vote

    • 17-year-olds may vote in a primary election if they will be 18 at the time of the general election

• When to Update your voter registration:

  • When you have moved within Durham County

  • When you have changed your name

  • When you wish to change your party affiliation
